Itinerary

1. Day 1Saturday – Welcome to Capo D’Orlando

   We’ll meet at the Marina di Capo D’Orlando around 5:00 PM, ready to welcome you on board. Together, we’ll gather provisions from a thoughtfully prepared shopping list and bring everything aboard. From that moment on, vacation mode is officially activated. Please note: the itinerary that follows is intended as a guide rather than a fixed schedule. The sequence of destinations—and the possibility of visiting each one—may vary according to weather and sea conditions, ensuring your comfort and enjoyment at all times.

2. Day 2Panarea – Chic Boutiques & Underwater Geysers

   Exploring Panarea, both by sea and on land, is an unforgettable experience. Though the island has no marina, it offers a wealth of scenic mooring spots and a well-organized buoy field. During the high season, it’s best to reserve a buoy in advance, as anchorage space can be limited. We’ll swim in the crystal-clear, sandy waters of Baia Milazzese, Cala Zimmari, Basiluzzo, or Cala Junco, and snorkel among the fascinating underwater fumaroles near Lisca Nera and Lisca Bianca. On land, the charming village of San Pietro invites us to wander through elegant boutiques and soak up the island’s effortless sophistication. As evening falls, Panarea comes alive — whether it’s cocktails at Bridge or the legendary Raya, or simply a refreshing granita enjoyed on a terrace overlooking Dattilo. A dinner on one of the island’s terrace restaurants, savoring local seafood under the stars, will be a true highlight.

3. Day 3Stromboli – The Sciara del Fuoco Spectacle

   We’ll set course for Stromboli — one of the world’s most active volcanoes and a destination unlike any other. This island is pure drama, where nature puts on a nightly show. As evening falls, we’ll witness the mesmerizing eruptions of the Sciara del Fuoco, either by joining a guided trek to its slopes or opting for a speedboat excursion with local operators (activities not included in the package) for a front-row view of the spectacle. By day, we’ll unwind on the black volcanic sands of Ficogrande or Forgia Vecchia in San Lorenzo, or dive into the deep, cobalt waters surrounding Strombolicchio. We’ll take a buoy at San Vincenzo to enjoy Stromboli by land. Here, the charming Bar Ingrid awaits — perfect for a sunset dinner featuring authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, or a leisurely breakfast with one of the Aeolian island’s finest granita con brioche.

4. Day 4Salina – Charm, Fine Wine & Alfredo’s Granita

   Salina, with its picturesque harbor and turquoise bays, is a serene haven that perfectly embodies the charm of the Aeolian Islands. Thanks to its central position within the archipelago, Salina is often visited midway through the week — a natural pause between adventure and relaxation. The spectacular bay of Pollara, nestled within the remains of an ancient volcanic crater, offers a breathtaking stop surrounded by dramatic cliffs and shimmering waters. Depending on the day’s plan, we may moor in the harbor and enjoy a stroll through the island’s vibrant streets — a delightful mix of colorful doors, cobblestone alleys, lush gardens, and elegant boutiques. From here, a short car ride brings us to Lingua for a taste of Alfredo’s legendary pane cunzato and refreshing granita. Alternatively, we may choose to anchor off Lingua and reach the shore by dinghy, heading straight to Alfredo’s for an authentic island experience by the sea. For wine enthusiasts, a visit to Hauner offers the opportunity to savor exquisite Aeolian vintages on a classic terrace overlooking the vines and the sea.

5. Day 5Lipari – The Heartbeat of the Aeolian Islands

   Lipari, the largest and liveliest of the Aeolian Islands, is a vibrant blend of energy, history, and natural beauty. Its coastline is a spectacle of color — from the deep blue waters of Canneto to the turquoise bay of Valle Muria and the striking rock formations of the Faraglioni. We usually visit Lipari mid-week, as it offers an ideal stop for refueling and provisioning, with a comfortable overnight stay in the harbor. Once moored, the island invites us to explore its many charms: the bustling promenades of Marina Corta and Marina Lunga, the quaint streets of the old town, and the friendly local boutiques. As evening falls, options abound. We might head up the hill for an aperitivo or dinner on a panoramic terrace overlooking the island of Vulcano, or stay closer to the sea at one of the lively bars and restaurants in Marina Corta, near the ancient port. And for those who wish to dance the night away, the famous Tourmaline nightclub promises an unforgettable Aeolian night.

6. Day 6Filicudi – Wild Beauty & Crystal Waters

   Filicudi captures the bohemian heart of the Aeolian Islands — untamed, elegant, and effortlessly captivating. We’ll head to La Canna, a striking 70-meter basalt pinnacle rising from the sea like a natural sculpture, perfect for a scenic swim in crystalline waters. Nearby, the Grotta del Bue Marino and the shimmering shallows of Capo Graziano invite us to dive into what feels like a living aquarium — an underwater paradise for snorkelers. We take the buoy in front of the village of Pecorini a Mare to reach land, here Filicudi reveals its soulful simplicity. We might walk barefoot over smooth stones, relax on colorful rugs and dine al fresco in an olive grove, with views of Alicudi and La Canna glowing in the sunset. Alternatively, we can savor a fish-based dinner at the local La Sirena, or for sushi lovers, enjoy a refined culinary experience at Filicrudi, where Mediterranean essence meets Far Eastern inspiration.

7. Day 7Vulcano – Adventure & Relaxation

   Vulcano, with its dramatic cliffs and vibrant contrasts between land and sea, is often best admired from the water. Its most captivating side unfolds as we sail along its coastline — from the white lighthouse of Gelso Bay, standing sentinel over the southern tip, to the luminous waters of the Piscina di Venere, where shades of turquoise and emerald melt seamlessly into the horizon. As it’s not always possible to explore all six islands in six days, a choice is made according to weather and pace. Vulcano is often enjoyed as a scenic stop from the sea rather than on land. While the island offers a more commercial atmosphere ashore, its true charm lies in its untamed coastline and tranquil anchorages at Baia Levante and Baia Ponente — the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

8. Day 8Saturday – Check-out & Fond Farewells

   We’ll return to Capo D’Orlando on Friday afternoon within 5.30 PM, leaving one final evening to reminisce about our unforgettable journey under the stars. By 8:30 AM on Saturday, it’s time to say goodbye — for now. But new adventures await, and we look forward to welcoming you aboard again soon. Please note: All additional mooring and/or buoy fees are at the guests’ expense. The itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions and the captain’s discretion, serving as an indicative guide rather than a fixed schedule.
